  • Graduates with an Education, Psychology or core subject-related degree are welcome to apply

This school recognises the importance of igniting passion for learning in all students, so is looking to secure an enthusiastic and committed Graduate KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. As a Graduate KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will be tasked with providing support to children as they grow and develop throughout the final years of their Primary education.

As a Graduate KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely alongside teachers and other education support staff to work closely with students in the classroom, as well as 1:1 and in small group settings. You’ll have the opportunity to support struggling students to achieve their potential, while encouraging an interest for learning in them. At times, you may also work with children with additional needs, who require support throughout the day.

The role will be a mixture of classroom tasks to provide a well-rounded educational experience for both students, whilst developing your own skillset. You’ll also be instrumental in the setting up and running of lessons and activities to help all students reach their potential, particularly those preparing for SATs.

The school are keen to speak to graduates of Psychology, Education, or core subject degrees wishing to pursue a career in this area of education ASAP. The role will start from September and, providing all goes well, will be a long-term position throughout the next academic year.
