An Outstanding school in Birmingham is seeking a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team immediately. This full-time Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant position offers the chance to work closely with dedicated teachers, providing essential support to students across the Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Religious Studies.
Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant Role:
- Recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in a Humanities-related subject such as History, Geography, Sociology, or a similar field.
- Passionate about encouraging students' academic growth and helping them develop a deeper understanding of Humanities subjects.
- Experience working with young people or in an educational environment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to assist with one-on-one support, small group sessions, and provide general classroom support.
- Help with lesson planning, delivering activities, and supporting the teacher in creating an engaging learning environment.
- Encourage students' critical thinking, curiosity, and personal development in the Humanities disciplines.
- Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the school’s community.
Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant Key Details:
- Full-time Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant role, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
- Competitive weekly salary of £475-£500.
- Immediate start, with the possibility of an extended role or permanent position.
