- Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant
- Full-time, long-term position starting September 2024 (to run for the full academic year)
- Earn up to £500 per week as a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant
- Graduates with a History, Geography or other Humanities-related degree are welcome to apply
- School is located in central Sunderland (with excellent transport links)
- Work closely with students aged 11-16 (including students preparing for their GCSEs)

- Previous relevant experience is preferred but not essential

They offer opportunity for students to develop knowledge and skills, allowing them to discover, understand, and evaluate Historical and Geographical events and concepts. As a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant, you should help instil the value of knowledge and understanding of Humanities subjects in students.
As a graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers and other education support staff to work closely with students in the classroom, as well as 1:1 and in small group settings. You’ll have the opportunity to support struggling students to achieve their potential, while instilling an interest for History, Georgraphy, and other Humanities-related subjects in them. The role will include a mixture of practical and theoretical tasks to provide a well-rounded experience for both the students’ education, and for developing your own skillset.
