Graduate History Teaching Assistant

Location: Leicester City Centre, Leicestershire

Salary: £500 - £540

We are looking for a Graduate History Teaching Assistant to join a “Good” secondary school in Leicester.

In this role, you will bring a more “hands on” approach to the classroom learning a unique style of teaching from a renowned history head teacher In the U.K which emphasises engagement!

Graduate History Teaching Assistant Key Details:

• Support on field trips – The school often goes off site to explore historical landmarks across Leicestershire.

Graduate History Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the delivery of history lessons, ensuring that all students are engaged
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students needing extra help
• Help with exam revision and academic skills development
• Encourage a love for history by making lessons interactive and engaging
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher

Graduate History Teaching Assistant Key Requirements:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in History or a related field
• Matching A levels and GCSE’s
• A passion for history and helping students achieve their academic goals
• A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching or related educational fields
