The Role - Graduate History Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate History Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the History department. You will work alongside experienced teachers to help deliver excellence and providing additional support to help them reach their potential.

  • Pay £500-£540 a week.
  • Fulltime/end of year role.
  • Supporting the delivery of History lessons both in the classroom and through one-to-one or small group interventions.
  • Helping to motivate and inspire students in a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
  • Assisting with classroom management and ensuring students remain focused engaged.
  • Providing tailored support for students with additional learning needs or those who require extra support.
  • Contributing to the overall development of the History curriculum.

What we’re looking for - Graduate History Teaching Assistant

  • A History Graduate with 2:1 or above.
  • A strong passion for History and education.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive attitude, with willingness to learn and develop within a high performing school.
