The Role
As a Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 in Geography and Humanities subjects.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide classroom support.
- Lead small group sessions and offer one-on-one assistance to help students excel in specific areas.
- Play a vital role in the academic success of students, whether providing additional help to those who need it or supporting high achievers to reach their full potential.
- Gain valuable insight into the teaching profession and develop skills essential for a future career in education.
About You
We are looking for passionate graduates who:
- Hold a degree (minimum 2:1) in Geography or a related field.
- Have a strong understanding of Geography topics and an enthusiasm for education.
- Are committed to gaining hands-on experience in a school setting.
- Are considering teacher training, such as a PGCE or School Direct program, in the near future.
