Position Overview:

  • Role: Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant
  • Degree Requirement: Minimum 2:1 in Geography or a related field
  • Contract: Long-term, starting immediately
  • Location: Outstanding Secondary School located in Hounslow West London
  • Salary: Earn up to £30,000 per annum
  • Support: Full training provided from day one
  • Ideal for: Experience before applying for PGCE or School Direct programs
  • Status: Interviews are currently being arranged

Role Description: 

As a Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant, you’ll support students across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, helping them gain a stronger grasp of Geography and Humanities subjects. You’ll work alongside teachers, assist with classroom learning, and lead small group sessions to help students excel in specific areas. Whether you’re working with students who need additional help or supporting high achievers to reach their potential, you’ll play a key role in shaping their academic success.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 or higher in a Geography-related degree.
  • A strong understanding of Geography topics and a passion for education.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a school setting and supporting young learners.
  • A commitment to gaining hands-on experience before applying for PGCE or other teacher training routes.
