Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting EYFS teachers in delivering fun, play-based learning
  • Assisting in key early learning areas including phonics, numeracy, and communication
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to help children reach their potential
  • Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Encouraging independent learning through creative, hands-on activities
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development
  • Assisting with daily routines, observations, and positive behaviour strategies
  • Getting involved in school-wide activities, enrichment events, and celebrations

Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 degree or above in Early Childhood Studies, Education, Psychology, or a related subject
  • A genuine interest in early years education and child development
  • Previous experience with children is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach
  • A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work well in a team
  • A clear ambition to pursue a career in teaching or education
  • Commitment to helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and creativity
