Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting EYFS teachers in delivering fun, play-based learning
- Assisting in key early learning areas including phonics, numeracy, and communication
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to help children reach their potential
- Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Encouraging independent learning through creative, hands-on activities
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development
- Assisting with daily routines, observations, and positive behaviour strategies
- Getting involved in school-wide activities, enrichment events, and celebrations
Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or above in Early Childhood Studies, Education, Psychology, or a related subject
- A genuine interest in early years education and child development
- Previous experience with children is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work well in a team
- A clear ambition to pursue a career in teaching or education
- Commitment to helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and creativity
