- Graduate English Teaching Assistant
- Full-time, long-term position starting September 2024 (to run for the full academic year)
- Earn up to £500 per week as a Graduate English Teaching Assistant
- Graduates with an English, or English-related, degree are welcome to apply
- School is located near central Newcastle (with excellent transport links)
- Work closely with students aged 11-16 (including students preparing for GCSEs)

- Previous relevant experience is preferred but not essential

As a Graduate English Teaching Assistant, you should help instil the value of knowledge and understanding of English subjects in students.
As a Graduate English Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers and other education support staff to work closely with students in the classroom, as well as 1:1 and in small group settings. You’ll have the opportunity to support struggling students to achieve their potential, while instilling an interest for English in them. The role will include a mixture of classroom-based tasks to provide well-rounded experience for both the students’ education, and in developing your own skillset.
The school are keen to speak to English, or English related, graduates wishing to pursue a career in this are of education ASAP. The role will start from September and, providing all goes well, will be a long-term position throughout the next academic year.
