Duties:
Graduate Art Teacher – Immediate Start
Primary School – £25k – £30k annually
Are you a Graduate in Art with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Do you have the creativity and skills to teach art in a way that inspires and supports children with diverse learning needs?
Are you ready to take on a rewarding and impactful role with a small SEND class?
We are urgently seeking a Graduate Art Teacher with SEND experience to join a supportive and inclusive primary school. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a small group of KS2 students with SEND, using art as a vehicle to enhance their learning and personal development. The role starts immediately and, for the right candidate, will continue into the next academic year.
Graduate Art Teacher – Candidate Specification
- Long-term, full-time Graduate Art Teacher
- Experience working with SEND students and an understanding of how to adapt lessons to their needs
- A creative and patient approach to teaching, with a focus on individual learning styles
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passionate about using art to enhance students’ confidence and skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Ideally, experience with KS1/KS2 students (desirable but not essential)
