Contract: Contract

Start date: Immediate

Hours: 8:30AM-4:00PM Mon-Friday

Graduate Academic English Mentor: Candidate specification

• Graduated with a 2:1 or higher in English literature, language or related field
• Strong academic background through GCSE and A-Levels
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn form experienced educators
• An interest in pursuing a long-term career in teaching or education
• Have a genuine passion for education and supporting young people achieve their full potential

Graduate Academic English Mentor: Job specification

• Assist teachers in delivering high quality English lessons, ensuing all students are engaged and supported
• Work 1-1 or with small groups of students who need additional help with literacy comprehension, or exam preparation
• Help students develop their written and verbal communication skills, as well as their ability to analyse texts critically.
• Support teachers by preparing resources, marking work and providing constructive feedback to students
