About the Opportunity - Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant

We're looking for a enthuastic recent geography graduate to join a  “good” secondary school in Wolsey Island, Leicester

Unlike your standard approach to the classroom, you will be encouraged to deliver a more "hands on" lesson with frequent field trips, on one such trip the students travelled to Bosworth and had to identify Igneous metamorphic and sedimentary rocks located in the top soil!

What You’ll Be Doing - Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll:

• Work with students across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, supporting their Geography learning.
• Assist in the delivery of engaging lessons
• Provide individual and small-group support
• Play a vital role in improving student outcomes by offering tailored support to those who need extra help and challenging the high achievers.
• Gain valuable classroom experience that will prepare you for your future in education

Who We’re Looking For - Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant

We want to hear from passionate Geography graduates who:

• Have a degree in Geography or a closely related field from a Top 30 University.
• Are excited about education and want to pursue a career in teaching.
• Have a solid understanding of Geography topics and are eager to share that knowledge with students.
• Are considering future teacher training, such as a PGCE or School Direct program.
