- Permanent full-time Geography ECT role with a September 2025 start

Geography ECT – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Teaching Geography to students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of the world, from human geography to physical geography
- Fostering a love for Geography through innovative and dynamic lessons
- Supporting students of varying abilities, from interventions to challenging the most able
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching methods as needed
- Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion, exploration, and critical thinking
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple schools to ensure an engaging and effective curriculum
- Inspiring students to pursue further studies or careers in Geography and related fields
Geography ECT – What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT with experience teaching Geography in a classroom environment
- A degree in Geography or a related field
- A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students to explore and understand the world through Geography
- Strong subject knowledge, with the ability to deliver engaging and relevant lessons
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make complex geographical concepts accessible to students
- A creative and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to cater to diverse student needs
- A proactive attitude, eager to collaborate with colleagues and continue developing professionally
