KPI Recruiting are on the look ut for a Class 1 Driver for our client based in Grays.

Pay Rate as a Class 1 Driver is:

• £15.50 - £17.50 per hour

Working Days as a Class 1 Driver are:

• 5 out of 7 Nights (Thursday- Tuesday)

Shift Details for a Class 1 Driver are:

• Main Shifts: Thursday- Tuesday
• Start times:
  • Early morning shifts starting at 00:30 (half past midnight) or earlier.
  • Twilight shifts with mid-afternoon starts.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating Class 1 vehicles in compliance with all road traffic regulations
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of cargo
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation
• Delivering excellent customer service during all interactions

Requirements for a Class 1 Driver are:

• Valid Class 1 driving license (C+E) or Class 2 (C) driving license
• CPC qualification
• Experience in a similar driving role is preferred but not essential
• Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends
