KPI Recruiting is looking for an Assembly Operative - Soldering Operative to join our client's respected organization. The successful candidate will assist in product development and help ensure the smooth running of production. While experience in soldering and assembly is preferred, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and test prototypes, including soldering, mechanical assembly, and using test equipment.
• Work with industry-standard components like passives, ICs, and processors with a pitch of 0.5mm.
• Collect data from long-term experiments and tests.
• Understand and follow product specifications.
• Repair and troubleshoot PCBs from production.
• Assist in building and installing production equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance of production equipment to ensure efficiency.

Working Hours & Pay:

• £11.50 per hour
• 39 hours per week (Monday to Thursday) with some Fridays available as overtime.
• Standard working hours: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
