Duties:

 Accounts Assistant

 £30,000 per annum 

Middlewich 

Monday to Friday 


We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to manage invoicing, customer accounts, financial reporting, and credit control. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and have experience with Sage50 and accounts receivable, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage invoice processing and ensure timely, accurate invoicing.
  • Handle credit control and cash management.
  • Maintain key customer accounts and relationships.
  • Assist with project invoice costing.
  • Support financial reporting and account reconciliation.
  • General accounts admin and email correspondence.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • AAT qualified.
  • At least 2 years' experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or cash allocation (contractor environment).
  • Proficient with Sage50.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Highly organised, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be flexible with working hours if required.
