World Food Day 2021

The 16th of October marked the Internationally- recognised World Food Day (WFD). It’s a day celebrated to help promote global awareness and action for those who suffer from hunger, and to highlight the need to ensure healthy diets for all. Here at KPI Recruiting we decided to show our support by sharing WFD posts via social media. Thousands of our followers may well have been unaware of WFD. We decided to play our part at our Stoke on Trent Headquarters by engaging our staff to try something that may have otherwise been out of their comfort zone.

KPI Recruiting value the diversity of our workforce and on the 16th, the team decided to each bring in food that best represented their respective backgrounds and cultures. This allowed everyone to try delicious foods from different areas of the world, which they may have never tried before. Pasta, Lasagne, Samosas, and many more were sampled by everyone. This also provided an opportunity for our new members of staff to interact with their colleagues, as well as enjoying some great food.
