KPI Rail and Infrastructure leads the way in compliance again with RISQS accreditation
KPI Rail and Infrastructure is pleased to announce that it has successfully passed another rigorous Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) audit. Conducted by RISQS-approved personnel, the 3-day audit confirms KPI's status as a verified company, giving RISQS buyer members the assurance to contract with them, knowing they meet the highest industry requirements.
The RISQS serves as a critical framework for companies to demonstrate their suitability as suppliers in the rail sector. It offers an open, fair, and transparent process for contractors to be recognised as capable providers of products and services throughout the Great Britain rail industry. The scheme is managed by the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) and is widely used by buyers across the industry.
KPI achieved an outstanding result in the audit, with no observations or corrective actions required.
Leading compliance in the rail industry
“We’re delighted to have been accredited by RISQS once again,” said Director Graham Piggott. “We always approach our audits with quiet confidence, but passing without any corrective actions or observations is an exceptional achievement. Massive thanks go to the team for all their hard work, especially Annette Swann and Nicola Bramley, who have worked diligently through this process, which requires a considerable amount of detail and focus.”
With its RISQS accreditation, KPI continues to be part of the supply chain for major infrastructure companies such as Network Rail, CRSA, Nexus, and HS2.
As members of CIRAS and Constructionline, RISQS verification is just part of KPI Rail & Infrastructure’s commitment to compliance. “We believe KPI Rail is at the forefront of Health & Safety protocols,” said Graham. “KPI has its own Close Call reporting system as part of our total commitment to the wellbeing of our people, so we can act on situations of concern as quickly as possible.”
